You may attach a document with your essay answers rather than filling in the fields provided. For document attachment instructions please reference the Document Attachment section on Page 6 of this form.
Essay: Please introduce yourself to the Yunasa community. You may address, but are not limited to, the following prompts.

  • All campers share a living space in the cabins. Write a note to your future roommate so they can get to know you better.
  • What excites you?
  • What do you love to learn about and share with others?
  • What is important to you and why?
Campers may choose to answer the questions from Essay A with a medium of their choice (e.g., essay, video via Google link, slides).

For document attachment instructions please reference the Document Attachment section on Page 6 of this form.
Essay: In an essay of 500 words or less, please address prompt ONE if this year's camp will be your second time attending Yunasa, OR prompt TWO if you have attended camp two or  more times. Please address each sub-question.
    1. If you have attended Yunasa or Yunasa West once, please answer these questions:
      1. What did you learn from Psychosynthesis?
      2. Why do you want to return?
      3. How might you make the most out of Yunasa 2024? Are there any intentions you would like to set for yourself?
      4. If you are turning 14 before camp this year, do you see yourself as a future leadership camper? Why or why not?
    2. If you have attended Yunasa or Yunasa West for more than one year, please answer these questions:
      • From the five aspects of self (intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual, and social), in which domain do you want to grow the most during 2025?
      • What are you most looking forward to for Yunasa 2025?  Are there any intentions you would like to set for yourself?
      • If you are turning 14 before camp this year, do you see yourself as a future leadership camper? Why or why not?

Leadership campers are accepted to Yunasa with added responsibilities. While leadership campers are given more freedom, they are expected to adhere to all the same rules as other campers. Leadership campers are role models for younger campers and are selected based on demonstrated personal growth and maturity. If leadership campers do not demonstrate these leadership qualities or uphold the camper responsibility agreement during the week of camp, they may be asked to leave camp early or be demoted to a traditional camper partway through the week.

All leadership campers must complete an interview via Zoom to gain acceptance to the Leadership Program. Acceptance into the Leadership Program is not guaranteed, as there is limited space available.

Please Note: Leadership 1 campers will have the option to be a leadership camper at either Yunasa West or Yunasa East for summer 2025. Leadership 2 campers will be only at Yunasa West for summer 2025.
